Adult acne (age 18 and up) can really dampen a person’s outlook on life. Don’t worry...heaven4women is here to help.
Before you decide to read about whatever miracle acne treatments we review here at Heaven4women.com, please just take a look at some pictures that represents people with acne prone skin. This is just to give you a idea of how bad adult acne can get and that the acne treatments listed here can treat this severe acne. Oh, and by the way, when we talk about adult acne we include the older group of teenagers too.
There is no such thing as a real cure for acne. Acne treatments are thrown all over the net, claiming to be the best, but those claims aren’t backed by anything.
The best acne treatment we could find out there was clearpores. There just doesn’t seem to be another acne treatment that can bring results faster that clearpores. It’s the only system that provides you with external and internal medication. That’s why it works so fast. Another thing about this acne treatment is the amazingly low refund rate the company gets. Why? Well...obviously this product works. It’s the only system that has been genuinely recommended by dermatologist across the U.S - it’s not a marketing gimmick.
In the past we we recommended Acnezine as the number one treatment for acne, but since clearpores came on the market our opinions have changed. There is a difference between the two solutions though. Clearpores is for people with light to mild acne, while Acnezine is for people with moderate to severe acne. Acnezine also works differently. It clears your body from the inside out. You most likely will get a breakout from using Acnezine, but it will soon go away.
Most people don’t have severe acne...that’s why Clearpores is the fastest and most trusted solution on the market.
Do you have severe acne?
Yep, these acne pictures look bad. If you are a acne sufferer it’s probably the worst thing to talk to people or even ask someone out to a date. You don’t have to live your life with acne though. Now this type of acne is very severe and there are only 2 non-prescription treatments that will work - Clearpores and Acnezine. (Clearpores being the better of the two.)
Uhm...how does acne start?
Acne is a result of an imbalance of few or more factors in skin relating to the sebaceous gland and duct system. When our body is working properly, small amounts of oil (called sebum) are produced in the sebaceous glands in the dermis (the deeper part of the skin).
These sebaceous glands share a tube or duct that goes to the skin with a small hair. When too much oil is produced or there is a blockage of the tube due to the excess oil, the end result is acne.
Most common causes of acne? An increased production of sebaceous material due to hormone imbalance or side effects of stress. The side effects of stress usually cause an overproduction of sebaceous material.
Mostly with the occurrence of acne, there is also something called retention keratosis. This basically means the lining cells of the sebaceous duct(tube) are not shedding properly and staying in place for a longer time period. This builds up until the duct(tube) is blocked.
This then leads to inflammation of the skin. Sometimes normal non-acne causing bacteria gets trapped. When trapped beneath the skin, this bacteria begins to react chemically with the sebaceous material. This then causes it to break down into free fatty acids. Free fatty acids does not actually belong in the deeper part of the skin and can be quite irritating to the skin causing it to result in inflammation.
Redness, firmness of the skin, swelling and tenderness are among the first signs. On about the 2nd or 3rd day the body tries to get rid of the bacteria by increasing white blood cells in that area and this results in the formation of pustules.
The most common causes for adult acne?
Acne that appears after the ages of 26 - 30 years are usually cause by one of the following:
* Recurrence of acne that cleared up after adolescence * Flare-up of acne due to certain event, example - pregnancy * Occurs for the first time in a person who had never previously had acne.
We suggest you should first visit your doctor before trying anything else. You can also go to a dermatologist, but just know this...it will break your bank account. Also, listen to what the doctor has to say, but don’t always take their advice. They are not always right and you know that. They will try to prescribe medicine like Accutane which is very dangerous. Accutane works well for severe acne, but the side effects is a bitter thing to live with.
We can try to sell you right off the bat by saying...don’t go to a dermatologist, buy a recommended acne treatment. But that won’t be very ethical. The first place we all go to when we have a problem is our doctor. Period.

But if you already had a visit to the doctor and the medication they prescribed you is not working or is causing some severe side effects, then obviously we are going to point you to our best acne treatments.
